Pay Rate: $36.00 per hour, +$3.00 weekend differential
Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week
Location: Columbia County NY

Position Summary

The Paramedic Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical leadership, operational oversight, and support to paramedic staff while ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This role combines hands-on clinical response with supervisory and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and support to paramedic staff
  • Serve as a clinical and operational resource during assigned shifts
  • Participate in a rotating weekend shift schedule
  • Fulfill assigned on-call responsibilities as required
  • Assist with staff training, mentoring, and performance improvement
  • Support quality assurance, policy compliance, and operational readiness
  • Promote a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and patient-centered care
Schedule & Work Expectations

  • Full-time position averaging 36 hours per week
  • Weekend shift rotation required
  • On-call days required as part of supervisory duties
Qualifications

  • Active Paramedic certification (state and/or national, as applicable)
  • More than 1 year of paramedic experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively support and guide team members in dynamic environments
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred but not required
